you're welcome! I'm sure, i know exactly what you meant. Dealing with routes, maps and this special kind of uncertainty - planning a trail through foreign country ;-).
Cuxhaven is ok, and the beach of Duhnen nearby is of local popularity. You're cycling there (between Wischhafen, Cuxhafen end Bremen) in the so called Elbe-Weser Dreieck, home of the Saxons from the term "Anglo-Saxon" (befor they migrate to British Isles).
Beer should be nowhere a problem in Germany, meanwhile Weiss- or Weizenbier is served in Flensburg. So have a good voyage!
