Iam considering buying a new bike. Today i have a aluminium frame, but i dont think its stiff/solid enugh when i travel with my Bob yak trail. I feel its moving to mutch. Would a carbon frame be more solid?

Biking is about maximum 1-6 hours each day on the wheels. And 4-12 half liters each day. On interrail you travel from a to b, on bike you travel between a to b.

I think i keep my old mtb Schwinn mesa alu frame, it has proved to be very strong.

the stiffest frame i' ve ever ridden is a GT Zaskar. Why not consider that one? Although i have to admit that mine was manufactured in the US, as nowadays the are welded in Taiwan. Cheers montezuma
